Justin Bieber made a much-awaited return to the Coachella stage, delivering a headline set that felt both intimate and unconventional, tracing his journey from a young internet discovery to a global pop star.
Opening his performance, the Canadian superstar leaned into his recent musical era, performing tracks from his comeback albums “Swag” and “Swag II.” Songs like “All I Can Take,” “Speed Demon,” “Butterflies,” "Go Baby", and "Walking Away", among many others, filled the first stretch of the show, with him singing with precision and distinct style.
But beyond the polished delivery, it was clear the night carried deeper meaning for the singer.
“This is a night I dreamed about for a long time,” Justin told the crowd, dressed casually in a pink hoodie, shorts, and boots.
As the set progressed, he brought out collaborators Carter Lang and Dylan Wiggins, shifting the mood into a more stripped-down, intimate segment. Together, they performed soulful renditions of “Things You Do,” “Glory,” and “Everything Hallelujah.” During the latter, Justin gave a special nod to his wife, Hailey, who was spotted in the audience and even appeared on the festival’s roaming cameras.
Midway through the performance, Justin signaled a turning point.
“Feels like we gotta take you guys on a bit of a journey,” he said. “You guys remember this song?”
That moment sparked one of the night’s most talked-about elements, a full-on YouTube streaming dive. Sitting in front of a laptop onstage, Justin played music videos of his early hits, including “Baby,” “Never Say Never,” and “Beauty and a Beat,” singing along his younger self as fans erupted in nostalgia.

Justin further leaned into the concept by playing clips of his original home videos singing songs like “With You” and “So Sick” that first caught the industry’s attention when he was just 12 years old.

Justin also delighted fans as he sang his much-beloved more recent hits including "Sorry," "Where Are U Now,” and “I'm The One."
As the set neared its finale, Justin returned to live performances, delivering “Yukon,” followed by “Devotion” with Dijon, and “Essence” alongside Tems and Wizkid, each track highlighting his evolving sound and collaborations.
“Tonight has been beautiful,” Justin said, before closing the show with “Daisies” alongside Mk.gee.
Online, many fans expressed how emotional they felt seeing Justin take the stage in such a reflective and personal way. Beliebers noted that the performance felt like he was “healing his younger self” as he revisited songs and clips that defined his journey to fame. Others also said that in return, they felt healed also watching him embrace a more grounded and intentional version of his artistry.
The performance marked Justin’s biggest live appearance in four years, following the cancellation of his “Justice” world tour due to health concerns. In 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused facial paralysis and forced him to step back from touring.
