Social media personality and entrepreneur Sachzna Laparan has finally graduated from college after years of being a breadwinner. As she celebrated the milestone, she also clarified allegations circulating on social media claiming that she bought her diploma.
On March 13, Sachzna shared photos of herself in a toga and graduation cap as she proudly marked her graduation from Philippine Christian University with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Office Administration. In her Facebook post, she looked back on the years of perseverance and sacrifice it took for her to finally reach the moment.

I am most proud of this.
It's not easy to be a CEO, actress, content creator, and student at the same time. But I'm so proud of myself because I did it and I will always do it."

"While you see me in front of the camera, I am secretly pursuing one of my most important dreams — to graduate,” she wrote.
The entrepreneur shared that her journey toward a diploma was not straightforward. She explained that she had to stop studying early in life as she stepped into the role of a breadwinner for her family.
“I started working at the age of 13. That's why I had to stop studying at the age of 16, that's why I didn't have the chance to graduate college right away because I am a breadwinner. But I promised myself that I will finish my studies no matter what happens... whatever age it is and whatever achievements I have already achieved. Dreams don't have deadline.”
Now that she has completed her degree, Sachzna said she is already setting her sights on her next academic goal of pursuing a master’s degree, saying that for her, “strategy alone is not enough,” and that both strategy and a diploma go hand in hand.
The milestone was also deeply personal for Sachzna, who dedicated the achievement to her mother. She expressed pride in becoming the first member of the Laparan family to graduate from college.
Many fans and followers congratulated the content creator online, applauding her determination to finish her studies despite her busy career and the years that had passed since she first left school.
However, the celebration was met by claims circulating online that she had allegedly bought her diploma – an accusation Sachzna was quick to deny.
“It's my first time to oppose fake news, because what I've been through is not a joke.
I'm hurt by other articles I read that say I bought my diploma. First of all, that's not how I know Philippine Christian University. They are one of the universities that are pro-working students and have a good program for people who are too busy but still want to graduate. Secondly, it seems like you are invalidating my tiredness, effort, and dedication to graduate,” she wrote in a separate Facebook post.
She also explained why she rarely spoke publicly about her studies before finishing her degree, saying that she believes in “evil eye” and preferred to keep that part of her life private until she could reveal the achievement after graduation.
“It's not easy if you don't have determination.
"Matter of time, dedication, and sacrifice. That's why I'm not married or have children yet, because I still have goals to accomplish,” Sachzna added.
“To the pages that are spreading fake news, I hope you will change — 2026 already,” she said.
As a longtime business owner, Sachzna also clarified that she completed her degree through the Republic Act No. 12124 or the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) Act, which allows individuals with relevant work experience to earn a college degree through academic equivalency and accreditation, recognizing prior learning and professional expertise. Through this pathway, high school graduates, technical-vocational graduates, college undergraduates, and working professionals can complete a degree without following the traditional classroom-based structure.
She said the program aligned with her 6 years of experience as a business owner, which ultimately led her to pursue a degree related to office administration.

“And here professors are still fair. Whether you have money or not, known or not, you can still be dropped. So many submissions, too — it's like you could build a book out of volume,” she emphasized.
Despite the criticism she faced online, Sachzna said she hopes people will choose to celebrate one another’s achievements rather than spread negativity.
“I hope we'll just be happier with each other's achievements. Too much going on in the Philippines. Let's make each other an inspiration.
“Anyway, whatever you say, I am complete, my life is happy, and I AM A PROUD DEGREE HOLDER ✨,” she concluded.
Apart from her, Angelica Yulo, the mother of double Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, and actress Geneva Cruz also recently earned a degree in Bachelor of Science in Office Administration from the Philippine Christian University.
