'It’s Showtime' hosts MC and Lassy revealed that they are fine with being kicked out of the noontime variety program if the producers see it fit to do so. In an interview with Ogie Diaz earlier this week, the comedic duo shared how they would understand the management’s decision as they also care about the staff behind the hit variety program.
MC and Lassy have been with It’s Showtime for four years now and have been a crowd favorite due to their comedic timing and banter with the rest of the hosts.

“Siyempre naiisip din namin yun na pwede kaming palitan. Puwede kaming palitan anytime pero hindi kami natatakot or magagalit,” MC expressed.
MC maintained that they both understand the challenges ABS-CBN is going through and if they were cut off from the show due to budget issues, they won’t take it against them.
“Kasi yung kumpanya, kailangan makasurvive dahil hindi lang kami ang swinseldohan. May mga staff silang swinsweldohan so kung feeling nila hindi na kami makakakatulong sa show, tatanggapin namin ng maluwag–– promise,” he added.
Apart from hosting the noontime variety program, the two expressed that they have other sources of income if ever the time comes for them. For them, saving up and investing is something they also considered for the security of their future.

“May iba pa naman kaming pinagkakaabalahan at nag-iipon namin kami kasi dadarating at darating talaga na may bagong susulpot. Kaya kami nag-iipon pag dumating yung panahon na yun na kailangan kaming mawala dun sa show, may naipundar kami,” they both echoed.
“At hindi kami mamemerwisyo ng iba na parang huy baka meron ka naman diyan–– at least meron kang pang sarili,” Lassy continued.
“Talagang lahat naman pwedeng matanggal di ba wala naman permanente eh kailangan mong tanggapin yun no dahil kailangan kumita ng show–– ilan ang umaasa. Ilan ang cameraman, ilang scriptwriter, ilang utility,” MC ended.
