Kapamilya actress Maymay Entrata and her partner Joaquin Enriquez took to social media to celebrate their sixth monthsary, sharing heartfelt messages that reflected the strength and depth of their relationship.
In a video posted on his social media pages, Joaquin described their relationship as one that has only grown stronger over time.
“6 Months With MY LOVER. January 24th. My beautiful princess, these past 6 months have consisted of lovely adventures, laughs, challenges, and UNFORGETTABLE memories. All these moments have been a testament that showcase how strong our love is,” Joaquin said.
He went on: “Whatever chaos or beauty this world may have to offer us, there’s nothing that me and you can’t conquer and overcome together with God by our side ❤️ Our love has only gotten stronger each day.”
Expressing his gratitude for half a year with Maymay, Joaquin continued: “Thank you for the best 6 months of my life filled with connection, growth, and LOVIE DOVIES. You are the rhythm to ever beat in my life. The melody to my song. My one and only dance partner. My missing step. My muse. MY PRINCESS. YOU ARE THE MUSIC IN ME. I love you Mary Dale. HAPPY 6 MONTHS. Halfway to a year let’s goooo. Thank You Jesus ❤️ ROAD TO FOREVER.”
Maymay responded in the comments with an equally affectionate message: “Road 24ever (to forever) baby lovies! All Glory to God! I LOVE YOU 🥹.”
Joaquin also shared on his Instagram Stories a compilation of how they celebrated their past monthsaries - whether together or miles apart.
“Its the 24th in the Philippines which means... 6 MONTHS WITH my (world).”
“No matter where we are in the world. Thousands of miles a part, or right next to each other. Everyday with you is a celebration of our love. Loving you is the easiest thing ever. Happy 6 months my love @maymay,” Joaquin said.
Maymay later reposted the same clip and shared how Joaquin has made her feel deeply loved.
“God has been so good to me, my love. I have witnessed a man full of love, kindness, patience, perseverance, and wisdom. Thank you kasi you inspire me to become better, to love deeper, and to trust God's timing more,” the Roja star said.
She added: “Thank you for making me believe na deserve ko pala ipursue araw-araw. You were not joking when you told me you wanted to be with me every month, even if it's just to stay for a few days (crying emoji). Yung effort, sacrifice, and consistency mo means more to me than you will ever know.”
She concluded her message, stating: “May God continue to guide us, protect our hearts, strengthen our love, and lead our relationship according to His will. I pray that we grow together in faith, in purpose, and in love. I choose you today and always. Happy 6 months babylovies!!”
Maymay and Joaquin went public with their relationship in October, when Joaquin shared a reel on Instagram on October 19, showing the couple embracing on a beach as he kissed her forehead.
In a previous interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Maymay admitted that being in a new relationship felt unfamiliar after spending two years on her own. Despite the adjustment, she shared that she feels happy and grateful, describing her partner as a “male version” of herself.
“Nakakapanibago naman po. Ako siyempre dalawang taon din pero happy po ako na ako lang po pero siguro po noong bliness ako ni Lord ng someone na parang ako raw pero boy version. Ayon po yung sabi rin ng friends and family ko. Sobrang blessed po ako,” Maymay said.
She also highlighted Joaquin’s consistent efforts to make their relationship work despite the distance. According to Maymay, Joaquin is based in the United States but makes it a point to visit her every month.
“Sobrang supportive niya po na every month siya pumupunta dito na after trabaho niya pupunta siya rito. Nakabase po kasi siya sa US,” Maymay said.
