Maymay Entrata took to social media to share a heartfelt message for her boyfriend, Joaquin Enriquez, expressing her deep gratitude for the love and care she continues to receive from him.
"Starting my year with this man who never gets tired of pursuing and surprising me. A love so gentle, yet so strong, so intentional and pure," she remarked.
The actress went on to wish the same kind of love for others, adding, "May this kind of love also find you… the kind of love God wants us to have."
Maymay also shared a Bible verse that she says reflects the foundation of their relationship. "1 Corinthians 13:4–7: A love that is patient, kind, selfless, and unwavering," she posted.
She further reflected on how their relationship mirrors God’s grace, writing, "A love that chooses you every day. A love that stays, grows, forgives, and understands. A love that reflects God’s grace, even in imperfect people," she said.
The Kapamilya star also opened up about the personal healing she has experienced through their relationship. "This love healed parts of me I didn’t know were still broken. It reminded me that real love doesn’t rush, doesn’t hurt, and doesn’t make you beg to be chosen. It reassures, protects, and leads you closer to who you’re meant to be," she said.
Maymay concluded her post with a message of faith and gratitude: "Thank you Jesus for this love—the one that feels like home, peace, and answered prayers all in one. ❤️"
Speaking recently with PUSH ABS-CBN, Maymay shared that entering a new relationship feels like a new experience after being on her own for two years. She said that while it takes some adjustment, she is happy and thankful, describing her partner as someone who mirrors her personality.
“Nakakapanibago naman po. Ako siyempre dalawang taon din pero happy po ako na ako lang po pero siguro po noong bliness ako ni Lord ng someone na parang ako raw pero boy version. Ayon po yung sabi rin ng friends and family ko. Sobrang blessed po ako,” Maymay remarked.
The Kapamilya star also emphasized her partner’s consistent efforts to sustain their relationship despite the distance, noting that although Joaquin is based in the United States, he makes time to visit her every month.
"Sobrang supportive niya po na every month siya pumupunta dito na after trabaho niya pupunta siya rito. Nakabase po kasi siya sa US," she said.
Maymay and Joaquin went public with their relationship in October 2025. Joaquin posted a reel on Instagram on October 19, showing him and Maymay sharing a hug on the beach, with Joaquin planting a kiss on her forehead.
He captioned the post, "I finally found my Iris :)."
