As one of the country’s most promising young stars, Francine Diaz’s popularity only continues to grow along with that of her love team partner Seth Fedelin. From starting out together as part of ABS-CBN’s Gold Squad to starring in their own movies and television series, the duo known as “Franseth” have proven they have what it takes to stand out on their own.
During their recent outing at this year’s Preview Ball, Francine talked to PUSH BETS about the best thing about being Filipino and which PInay icon she admires the most.
Staying true to the fashion event’s Filipiniana theme, Francine turned heads wearing a strapless Mark Bumgarner gown and shared what she loves most about the Filipino culture.
”Siyempre yung hospitality. Diyan naman tayo kilala talaga eh. Pag may bumibisita sa akin, hindi nila tayo makalimutan kasi grabe tayo mag-alaga ng mga bisita. Kasi I think it runs naman sa kultura ng mga Pinoy na mapagmahal at maalaga tayo. At kadalasan, napapakita natin yun sa pagluluto, alam naman natin yan. Sa pagluluto, sa paglilinis ng mga tinutuluyan ng bisita natin. So I think it’s the hospitality,” she told PUSH BETS host Gary Lastrilla.

During the PUSH BETS interview, Francine also revealed which Filipina fashion icon she admires the most in showbiz. “Ang dami kasi eh. Actually, yung mga Filipina ngayon, of course we have Ms. Heart (Evangelista) di ba? Pag nakikita pagka nasa Paris siya, or may pinupuntahan siyang fashion week, hindi lang naman siya laging international brands. Actually, nakakatuwa nga makita na she’s also wearing mga Filipino designers. Pag Filipino-made, kasi mas nakaka-proud na may nagdadala ng gawang Pinoy sa iba’t ibang lugar,” she explained.

At the age of 10, Francine got her start in the limelight doing commercials and modeling before getting into showbiz in 2014, where she began acting by guesting in various ABS-CBN shows like Ipaglaban Mo and Pasion de Amor. She landed her her first major role in 2018 in the drama series Kadenang Ginto playing the role of one of the lead characters along with co-star Andrea Brillantes. She is currently part of the cast of the crime thriller drama Sins of the Father playing the role of Arissa Trinidad.
