Celebrity couple Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi expressed how they both understand each other throughout the years that they’ve been together. In an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda earlier this week, the two shared some of the secrets they’ve learned which maintained their relationship.
Carmina and Zoren have been together for more than two decades and tied the knot back in 2012 through a surprise wedding.

When asked to describe the years that they’ve been together, the Kapuso actress shared that it was like a rollercoaster.
“Hindi dahil may problema kami, rollercoaster ride yung naging buhay natin not as a couple. Kumbaga, yung family. Siyempre, andaming nangyari in the past, andaming mga pag subok,” she shared.
“Our life, it’s not perfect. Meron at meron pag subok na dadaan at dadating pero at the end, we’re still together. In the end, intact ang family–– nahurt tayo yes, pero, nasurvive natin yun. Kaya rollercoaster,” she added.
Zoren agreed with his wife’s sentiments and added how just like surfers, they learned how to ride the waves in life which made it easier for them as a family.
“We never really experienced like a tidal wave or a tsunami–– maybe a few waves. As a surfer, you’re not afraid of those waves because you know how to surf. Ang maganda sa family na 'to, we know how to surf the waves–– yung mga problema kaya namin,” he expressed.
Meanwhile, the couple expressed how understanding each other’s needs and wants is the key to have a long lasting relationship. Throughout the years they’ve been together, they came to recognize that they should act as one.
“Since mag asawa naman kayo, you are one. If you are taking care of yourself, dapat alagaan mo din yung asawa mo. Wag mo bigyan ng rason para mafeel niya na neneglect mo siya or wala siyang kausap,” Carmina shared.
Earlier this week, the Kapuso actress was treated to a surprise birthday party for her 50th birthday.
