Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 4th Kapuso Big Placer AZ Martinez has been booked and busy after their historic season of the Kapamilya reality show ended.
In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, AZ shared that she’s still adjusting to the massive wave of support from fans and viewers after leaving the PBB house.
“Actually naninibago pa rin ako with all the the fans, with all the support kasi hindi ko po talaga inexpect na I have people supporting me that there’s gonna be a fandom pero when I got out ang daming fandom tapos shippers ang daming love ang daming support. So overwhelming super grateful,” AZ expressed.

Although she has begun adjusting to life outside the house, AZ admitted that everything still feels surreal.
“Siguro everything that’s happening na lang in my career and my life it’s all processing parang up until now hindi ko pa rin mapaniwalaan na is this happening? Is this what I am now? Ganito na ba yung life ko ngayon? There’s really love for me parang ganon. Parang hindi ko pa rin mapaniwalaan but I’m really grateful,” she added.
AZ also responded to fans asking whether she would return to the beauty pageant scene after her PBB journey. While she isn’t closing her doors to that possibility, she wants to focus on acting for now.
“Honestly, right now wala pa talaga yun sa plans ko and I don’t see it in the near future yet pero maybe after a few years mga ganon. Who knows baka mag-iba yung plans ko. Pero right now I really want to focus on the path I’m in. And now sobra talaga akong nag enjoy sa acting sa entertainment industry. I’m loving what I’m doing right now,” AZ said.
Aside from acting, AZ revealed she’s also interested in pursuing hosting, a skill she discovered during her time as a beauty queen.
“Gusto ko talaga mag act. I want to have like teleserye, movies. Pero aside from that gusto ko din mag host. I really wanna try hosting. Iniisip ko nung nag beauty queen ako,” she stated.
AZ first joined the pageant scene in 2022 as the representative of Tacloban City in Hiyas ng Pilipinas, where she won the Elite World 2022 crown. In 2023, she proudly represented the Philippines at Miss Summit International.
In a previous interview with Boy Abunda, AZ revealed that her pageant journey began out of curiosity during the pandemic.
“I started as beauty queen po pero my dream was to be an artista talaga. It just so happened na during pandemic na wala talaga ako magawa and there’s a pageant daw sa Cebu so I said I try this out and ayon thankfully nagsucceed po ako doon. Pero I knew to myself na I wanted something else,” she explained.
