MANILA — Singer-actress Zsa Zsa Padilla paid a visit on Thursday to the tomb of the late comedy icon Dolphy in Taguig to mark his 13th death anniversary.
The actor, dubbed as the King of Philippine Comedy movies, died on July 10, 2012, due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He was 83.
In a social media post, Padilla once again thanked the late comedy superstar for all the "beautiful memories."
"Remembering you today, Dolphy, on your 13th death anniversary. Thank you for the laughter, the love, and all the beautiful memories you’ve left behind. You live on in our hearts and in the joy you brought to millions," Padilla wrote.

Padilla has one child with Dolphy, Zia Quizon, as well as an adopted daughter, Nicole.
Meanwhile, Dolphy's son Eric Quizon also marked the death anniversary of his father by posting a reel paying tribute to the King of Comedy's iconic role as John Puruntong from the classic sitcom "John en Marsha."
On Wednesday, a lawmaker filed a House resolution seeking to nominate Quizon for National Artist for his “magnificent body of work and championing of Filipino values for all generations of Filipinos.”

Aside from "John en Marsha," Quizon was known for his iconic role in the series "Home Along da Riles," as well as films like "Omeng Satanasia," "Captain Barbell," and "Markova Comfort Gay."
To honor his legacy, ABS-CBN named its Dolphy Theater after the late actor in 2008.
