Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz honored her husband, Julius Naranjo, with a short yet sweet birthday tribute on social media on Saturday, June 14.

“Happy birthday to my coach, and my husband— @imjulius,” she wrote.

The Olympic champ expressed her gratitude to Julius, honoring his significant contributions to her success as an athlete.

“Thank you for everything—for standing by my side through every lift, every challenge, and every dream. For being my partner in chasing goals, travel adventures, wild ideas, midnight cravings, and most of all, in our shared love for weightlifting," she expressed.

“You’ve been my strength both on and off the platform, through every high and low. I’m beyond grateful for you,” she added.

Hidilyn is looking forward to achieving more goals with her husband who shares the same interest in weightlifting.

“Here’s to more memories, more milestones, and more moments we’ll conquer together. Love you always,” she said.

The sweet birthday message was accompanied by photos of them from the weightlifting events they attended together and their travels abroad.

Hidilyn tied the knot with Julius in Baguio City on July 26, 2022 — the anniversary of her historic win at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
