Theater actress Rachelle Ann Go shared a glimpse of her recent Boracay getaway with her husband Martin Spies.
The couple visited the island as Martin celebrated his birthday.
"Boracay birthday getaway for @spiesmj! 🌴 🌊 I hope you had the most amazing time relaxing, recharging, and—best of all—getting uninterrupted sleep with no kids around! Nyahaha😅 😜" Rachelle wrote in her Instagram post.
She went on: "I love you and so proud that you kinda know Bahay Kubo😅."
In the video she posted, Rachelle and Martin can be seen exploring the island and going on a food trip during their Boracay stay.
Rachelle tied the knot with Martin Spies in April 2018.
The singer gave birth to her first child in March 2021. Meanwhile, she gave birth to her second child in March 2023.
Rachelle moved to London in 2014 when she became part of the West End revival of Miss Saigon. She played the role of Gigi Van Tranh.
In a past interview with Boy Abunda, Rachelle opened up about what made her decide to move abroad despite a thriving career in the Philippines back then. "That time gusto ko pong mangyari nun, gusto ko i-challenge 'yung sarili ko eh. Kasi nandito ako sa Pinas, parang sabi ko, parang may kulang."
She added: "I don't know, parang pareho 'yung ginagawa ko, I was singing the same songs, doing the shows, concerts, pero sabi ko gusto kong ma-experiences something different and God gave that to me."
Rachelle relayed that her husband Martin has been very supportive of her career. "Nagto-tour kasi kami from Hamilton, tapos 'yung Les Miserables, talagang suportado po talaga niya ako," she shared.
Rachelle relayed that she and her family travels to the Philippines every other year during the holidays to spend time with their loved ones in the country.
"Every other year umuuwi kami ng family ko, si Martin and 'yung two kids, to celebrate Christmas and New Year with my family here. Seven weeks po kaming nandito since December pa po. I'm very happy," she said.
