BANGKOK, Thailand — “It’ Showtime” hosts Anne Curtis and Karylle, both known K-drama enthusiasts, attended Saturday the global premiere of the new South Korean series "Good Boy," starring heartthrob Park Bo-gum.

The two stars both graced the blue carpet at a mall in this city, where Prime Video, which streams the action-comedy series, launched the show.

“I love that we are all here. Anne has been my fellow K-drama fan for a long time so just going back to kung ano ‘yong mga napanood namin in the past, and that same energy and excitement is kind of kilig,” Karylle said in an interview with select Filipino reporters present at the event.

“‘Yong mayroon ka, ‘di ba, that one friend na kasundo mo sa certain things… sa pagiging fan girl,” she added.

During the press conference, Karylle also had the chance to ask cast members Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun and Lee Sang-yi about their preparations for their characters.

“Good Boy” revolves around a group of medal-winning athletes who are recruited as crime-fighting cops.

“For me, I need to practice boxing for six months,” Bo-gum, who plays former elite boxer Yoon Dong-ju, said via an interpreter.

“I tried to keep myself fit,” he said.

Recalling the first time he read the show’s script, Bo-gum said: “I read it very fast because it’s like a comic, it’s very fun.”

Anne, meanwhile, had the opportunity to interview Bo-gum. This encounter marked a reunion for the two actors, as Anne previously hosted Bo-gum’s fan meeting in Manila in 2019.

“It was nice to see him again and nice to talk about his new series,” Anne told Filipino reporters.

Anne teased that fans can expect a “pa-sample” from her interview.
