Sharon Cuneta took to social media to pay tribute to the dedicated volunteers and staff who played a crucial role in her husband Kiko Pangilinan's recent senate campaign.
The Megastar shared a heartfelt message, expressing deep gratitude to those who stood by them throughout the journey.
"Nung akala namin, malabo na, mahirap na, madilim na… Our hardworking volunteers and staff on Election Night. They are the ones who never gave up on their dreams and hopes for the future of our country," she posted on her Instagram page.
Sharon emphasized the sacrifices made by the team behind Kiko’s campaign, highlighting the long hours and time spent away from loved ones.
"They worked tirelessly for Kiko to win - leaving their families and loved ones for days, weeks, months on end to bring us to the finish line. We love and value each and every one of you guys," she said.
Along with her message, Sharon shared a video showing volunteers and staff celebrating upon learning that Kiko had reached the top 5 in the senatorial race.
"When we saw this video on May 12, we were overwhelmed and touched and became emotional not just because of the amazing, unexpected results, but because we saw and felt the pure joy in your hearts…You are ours always," she said.
The actress also expressed her appreciation for the support they gave Kiko throughout the campaign, especially during moments when she couldn’t be by his side.
"You took care of my husband when I couldn’t be with him. You kept him company and encouraged and supported him. We love and adore you. We will continue to fight because of you and those like you," she said.
The Megastar went on: "This is truly just the beginning. And Kiko could never have won without your hard work, perseverance, prayers, patience, love, faith and belief in God - and in our candidate and in what the country can be - which is so much more. We love you. And you are so very precious to us. Thank you from the very depths of all our hearts!"
