Kapamilya actress Kiara Takahashi took to social media to share a heartfelt message following the birth of her first child with partner Ben Gunter.
On Instagram, Kiara penned an emotional note to their newborn son, whom she described as the “most beautiful little soul” she has ever encountered.
“To my world, my Sekai, the moment I heard you cry, everything shifted. My life quietly rearranged itself around you. Reshaped my soul in an instant. The pain, the waiting, the uncertainty… it all led me to you. In the most, darkest moment of my life seeking for answers and purpose, you came. Healed parts of me I didn’t even know were hurting. You are the most beautiful little soul I’ve ever witnessed,” Kiara said.
The former Pinoy Big Brother: Otso housemate revealed that she underwent a last-minute cesarean section, as her son turned out to be “the biggest baby” the hospital staff had seen this year.
“You came into the world in your own way making it unforgettable not just for me, but also for everyone in that hospital! A last-minute C-section because you were growing into the biggest baby they’d seen this year. 👶🏻 But that unexpected turn became the path that led me to you safely. And the moment I saw you and heard you cry, every bit of fear and pain disappeared, my darling,” Kiara added.
Kiara also expressed gratitude to Ben, who stood by her throughout her pregnancy and delivery.
“And as I brought you earthside, through it all, your dad was there. He held my hand through the tears, steadied me through every wave of fear stronger than I ever realized. Watching him become your dad was one of the most beautiful parts of your story. I always knew he had it in him… but seeing it changed me too,” Kiara stated.
She likewise thanked friends, family, and supporters who sent their warm greetings.
“To everyone who reached out, left a message, or celebrated with us whether in the comments, in my inbox, or in person… Thank you!! ♥︎ Your love and support means more than words can ever say,” Kiara continued.
Kiara ended her post by revealing their baby boy’s name: Sekai Leon Gunter.
“My boy, you are my answered prayer, my healing, my heart outside my body, my miracle, my purpose. Thank God for you. Welcome to the world, Sekai Leon Gunter 🤍 Love, your mama,” Kiara remarked.
Before Kiara’s post, Ben first announced the birth of their son on his social media page, sharing a carousel of photos and writing “Our Christmas present is already here 🥰 let me introduce the newest member of the Gunters 😜 @_kiaratakahashi.”

Kiara publicly confirmed her relationship with Ben in February this year through a video commemorating their first anniversary. The couple announced that they were expecting last August and had since been sharing their journey to parenthood online.
Last month, Ben proposed to Kiara on the piece of land they purchased as the future site of their dream home.
