OPM singer-songwriters and real-life couple TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan had an early Christmas gift for their Sarili Nating Mundo world tour team members, as they gave each one of them ₱100,000 after completing 40 shows around the globe.
In a series of TikTok videos posted by TJ, the SNM40 team gathered to celebrate a year that took them from one stage to another. Each member had their phones out to capture their reactions after the couple announced that they would be handing out scratch cards. Later compiled by TJ, the video clips showed the cheers and tears of the team members as they received the surprise gift the couple had for them. The concert's director, John Prats, was also seen joining the fun.
TJ began, saying, “Again, walang uuwing luhaan sa trip na ‘to,” before laying out what everyone thought were the prizes inside the scratch cards.
The team immediately reacted with shouts and laughs while some were even seen clasping their hands in prayer to receive the highest prize. KZ then stepped in to explain the process, holding up the scratch cards that all looked exactly the same. “Hindi po namin alam kung nasaan dito [yung highest prize], magkamukha po lahat [ng packaging]” she said, making sure everyone followed along.
“Kung kanino man mapupunta ‘yun [₱100,000], deserve niya ‘yun,” one of the team members said as KZ handed out the scratch cards.
When the signal was finally given, everyone scratched their cards and waited for results – only to realize, almost all at once, that each one of them received the same amount.
“Happy SNM40!” TJ said simply, greeting the team as they processed what had just happened.
One by one, the SNM40 team members screamed and teared up as each member realized that they had received ₱100,000 from TJ and KZ.
In the comments section of the video, TJ reiterated his gratitude, writing, “DESERVE NYONG LAHAT! Ramdam namin ang puso nyo every single show, thank you guys ❤”
“TAYO AY LILIPAD 🚀,” he added.

Another video soon followed, compiling even more raw reactions from the team. Some jumped, others shouted from their seats, and a few stood on tables, overwhelmed by the surprise from the couple.
Netizens were quick to react, flooding the comments with congratulations and messages of appreciation for how the couple treated their team.
“Deserved ang sold out concerts palagi 🥹 Congrats and Merry Christmas sa lahat ng team SNM.🫶🏼🎉,” one wrote.
Another commented, “God bless you more TJ and KZ. Apaka busilak ng puso nyo 🥹❤️”
“grabe damang dama ko ang saya naluluha na nanginginig pa parang naka 100k din ako😭😭😂🥰,” one fan added.
Several SNM40 team members also shared their gratitude on their own social media accounts.
Guitarist Makoy Portado posted on Facebook, “Finally pwede ko ng e post after 11 days haha. Sabi ko nga dito ‘Lord, ipanalo mo naman ako kahit ngayon lang. Di na man ako nagsusugal’ akala ko talaga 5k lang mapapanalonan ko eh haha kaya ayun PANALO LAHAT !!!! Salamat uli TJ Monterde Kristine KZ Tandingan kitang-kita sa reaction talaga namin ang saya. Salamat sa 13month bonus haha labyu !!!”
Makeup artist Ash Lei also expressed her thanks, writing, “I’m thrilled to share that I just received an unexpected amount of 100K as a pamaskong handog from my one and only Ate Kristine KZ Tandingan and Kuya TJ Monterde and I couldn’t be more grateful! 🥹”
The Sarili Nating Mundo world tour consisted of 40 shows across the globe. It opened at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last February with a three-night sold-out run, followed by multiple shows across the Philippines and tour stops in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States, among others. KZ supported TJ throughout the tour as a special guest. The couple officially closed the final leg in Abu Dhabi, UAE last December 2.
Beyond their generosity to their team, TJ and KZ also shared meaningful moments with fellow Filipinos during the tour. In their Auckland leg, what began as a lighthearted budots dance challenge turned into a fundraising effort when the audience donated, raising more than ₱100,000 for earthquake victims in various parts of the Philippines.

In a press conference last October, TJ also spoke about how the SNM40 team grew into a family over months of constant travel and rehearsals. “Every week kasi kami magkasama so hinahanap hanap na namin ang isa’t isa, literal. Pag wala kaming SNM sa week na yun or mga two weeks na, yun, parang may mali. Maghahanapan kami. Mag-mi-meet up kami. Sobrang naging close na din kami talaga na halos lahat ng mga plano namin sa buhay, naging super close na rin kami,” he shared.
Following the success of Sarili Nating Mundo, TJ and KZ are set to return to the Smart Araneta Coliseum for their In Between four-night concert on February 6 to 9, 2026. The first three nights have already been sold out. Audience can buy their tickets for the Day 4 starting December 15 via TicketNet.
