Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition Kapuso 2nd Big Placer Will Ashley took to social media to call out the offensive and hateful messages he has been receiving, particularly those directed at his family.
On his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Will expressed frustration and anger after receiving hurtful messages from alleged bashers who even wished harm upon his mother.
“I’ve been getting a lot of messages saying they hope my mom dies. Bakit umabot tayo sa ganyan? Last week lang, nagkaroon ng online reflection about bullying and mental health, tapos lumala this week? We are just doing our job, working for our craft, our art — bakit kailangan itapon natin ang morality? O baka sadyang masama lang talaga kayong tao and can't wait to wish ill on others,” Will expressed.

Disappointed by how some online users resorted to cruelty, Will reminded netizens to direct their outrage toward those truly deserving of criticism—not to artists who are simply doing their work.
“Wala kaming ninanakaw, wala kaming sinasaktan o tinatapakan, lalo na ang pamilya ko. Save your outrage for people who are doing evil, not people who are just making art,” he added.
The actor also defended his friends and fellow PBB Collab housemates, who have likewise been targets of online hate and have been dragged into issues without reason.
“Also, my friends know better than you. Bakit sila nadadamay? Pati support system who keep us afloat and are there during the private moments of our lives, nadadrag ng walang dahilan. And this isn't just happening to me, pati sa ibang housemates,” he said.
Will went on to emphasize that the friendships they built inside the Big Brother house are genuine and not for publicity.
“We built a strong bond in the house, hindi nyo ito masisira. Not everything we do is a calculated PR move, we are humans too. 4 months kaming magkakasama, supporting each other every day through some of the toughest days of our lives, so obviously close talaga kami,” he added.
He also urged fans to tone down the negativity online, reminding them that all of them are simply pursuing their dreams.
“Sana all the fans, including the very few of mine na gumagawa nito, let's tone it down please. Lahat kami we are just working for our dreams. Lahat kami mahal ang trabaho namin.”
Following the hateful messages he received, Will revealed that he is consulting legal options should the harassment continue, hoping to put an end to the online hate directed at him, his friends, and his family.
“I am consulting now for legal options in case this doesn't stop. I don't want to tolerate this hate anymore na ibinabato nyo sa kahit sino. Not me, not my friends and especially not my family. This is not a good use of our limited time on earth. Sana use your time to spread love, positivity, and support,” he expressed.
The young actor ended his post by thanking fans who continue to support him despite the negativity online, saying: “Lastly, thank you to my fans who fight for me kahit minsan mahirap. Maraming salamat sa pagsama pa rin sa akin sa journey ko, kayo ang lakas ko. Know I appreciate you all and mahal ko kayong lahat.”
Will is among the growing number of celebrities speaking up against online hate and harassment that have become increasingly common in recent years.
Recently, Senator JV Ejercito filed the Anti-Online Hate and Harassment Bill, also known as the Emman Atienza Bill, which seeks to address the “growing wave of cyberbullying, fake news, and online defamation” in the country.

The bill is named after the late social media personality Emman Atienza, daughter of broadcaster Kim Atienza, who, according to the senator, had been a victim of online hate.
