Capping off a busy year starring in various films and TV series, Sue Ramirez received another blessing with her biggest endorsement to date. The 29-year-old actress was launched as the newest calendar girl of a popular liquor brand last November 26 in Pasay City. During the program, Sue shared just how emotional she got after finding out she was officially the brand’s 2026 calendar girl.

“I remember the exact moment. I was in the condo and my handler called me. Umiyak talaga ako, as in tears fell from my eyes because I was so, so happy. This is something that I prayed for. God gives us surprises in the most unexpected moments. When they told me the concept is magiging the siren, natuwa talaga ako because it embodies strength and confidence and also authenticity na talaga namang those are the values that I uphold and I’ve worked for, for a long time, para ma-embrace ko talaga over the years,” she said.

Sue admitted that she had been manifesting to receive this kind of blessing for a long time now.  “Actually nag-ma-manifest ako kaya siguro nabigay ito sa akin ni Lord kasi  ang daming nag-ma-manifest nito for me, na parang, ‘Wow, it’s about time na you be the calendar girl.’ For some reason, parang something inside me was really telling me na magiging calendar girl ako. Meron akong ganun. And I think I really needed that attitude to manifest the blessing and here it is.

“Sobra sobrang proud ako para dalhin ko itong brand na ito at para maibigay rin sa akin itong responsibility at chance na ito. I really cherish it and I’m so, so proud. Talagang pinagdasal ko na maging calendar girl ako ng Ginebra and finally it’s here! I think being a calendar girl is not just about being sexy. It’s owning your power, your voice, your story. And being called the siren feels like a badge of honor to me, na parang yes this is me, this is Sue. Strong, feminine, and unapologetically me,” she shared.

Sue made sure to remember her longtime fans, who have always been there to support her career even during the time when she was not that visible onscreen. “This is definitely a milestone for me. I’m always, always grateful to the people who support me. Gusto ko magpasalamat sa lahat ng sumubaybay sa career ko, simula nung nagsisimula pa lang ako. You know everything that I achieve and all the milestones are more meaningful because I have their support and they’ve been watching me and staying with me through all those years. Even on my inactive days, I still feel the love and the acceptance and talagang this is something na I’m very, very proud of.

“I want to inspire people, especially women, na tingnan niyo nga oh, just chase your dreams, reach for your dreams kasi ako, after all the hard work throgh all those years and lahat ng growth na pinagdaanan ko, andito na ako. Naabot ko. And I’m sure kayang kaya rin nila maabot lahat ng pangarap nila,” she said.

Prior to this endorsement, Sue talked about her experience being the celebrity ambassador for one of the brand’s products for the past seven years before becoming their calendar girl.

“I really feel like I have a bigger responsibility now. It’s not just GSM Blue that I’m bringing, though sobrang grateful ko. I’ve worked with them since 2018 so imagine it’s 2025 now and I’m still part of the Ginebra family. Pero this time, mas malaki na talaga yung responsibility ko. It’s not just the brand of alcohol, it’s a basketball team and it’s the whole family of Ginebra San Miguel that I’ll be finally bringing to everybody. So I think it’s a much, much bigger responsibility for me.

“So when I found out, of course I gave myself a pat on the back and parang sinabi ko na, ‘Wow girl, I made it!’ (laughs) Never say die. I-manifest mo at mapupunta talaga sa iyo. And of course, tinitingnan ko rin itong chance na ito as a big, big blessing to me. After years of having very beautiful calendar girls in the past, ngayon it’s my time to shine! I’m so privileged and honored and very, very proud naman as always to to be a part of this family,” she added.
