Currently starring in the much talked about raunchy comedy Flower Girl, Sue Ramirez always looks perfectly pretty as she plays the role of commercial model Ena in the film. But in real life, the 28-year-old actress admits that she does not really mind looking less than perfect, especially when it‘s that time of the month.

“Ohy my gosh, marami pong mga araw na ganyan. Of course naman. I think everybody goes through that. Especially like ngayon, I’m on my period. So I kind of feel under the weather. I’m not 100%. That’s what I feel lang,” she shared in an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN.

Despite having days when she’s not feeling her best, Sue said that being professional and dedicated to her craft is what always gets the job done for her. “Of course, we still show up. Let’s just show up. Not show up for anybody, we show up for ourselves na pumunta tayo dun, gawin natin yung kailangan natin gawin,” she said.

“On the days that you feel losyang, that’s okay,” Sue added. “Everybody feels like that and hindi yun kabawasan ng pagkatao mo. Hindi yun kabawasan ng ganda mo. Ikaw pa rin yan. Kumbaga, walang nagbabago. Kahit nag-iba naman yung itsura mo sa sarili mo.”

With a jampacked schedule that involved doing back-to-back projects since last year, as well as working on an upcoming new series with Flower Girl co-star Jameson Blake later this year, Sue maintained she is not complaining one bit about her super busy schedule. “Surprisingly, I still have the strength. Kaya pa ng katawan ko. So as much as I can, nagtatrabaho pa rin ako. Next year 30 na ako, so I won’t be as fit, I won’t be as strong and as healthy as I am. I can be but of course you age. It happens. Because bumabagal ka na, mas matagal ka na mag-memorize ng lines. Pero habang kaya ko pa, talagang tanggap lang ako ng tanggap ng work!” she said.

After making an exciting theater debut last year in the Sandbox Collective musical Little Shop of Horrors where she played the role of Audrey, Sue admitted she is looking forward to returning to the stage once her schedule permits. “I was supposed to audition for SideShow but I have a TV series and I missed also doing TV. Ang daming ganap. Pero gusto ko bumalik,” she revealed.

Currently showing in 100 cinemas nationwide, Sue’s film Flower Girl also stars Martin del Rosario, and Jameson Blake, with KaladKaren and Maxie Andreison. Written and directed by Fatrick Tabada. Produced by The IdeaFirst Company, Octobertrain, and CreaZion Studios.
