Vice Ganda and Ion Perez are without a doubt the most celebrated and powerful LGBTQIA+ couple in showbiz today, breaking rules and proving to the mainstream that love is for everyone.
Their public display of appreciation and love on social media and even on TV is meaningful to the community and conveys a sense of normalcy.

In an interview with the showbiz press, including ABS-CBN News, the Phenomenal Superstar discussed Perez’s impact on her life, sharing, “Ang laki ng influence niya sa 'kin.”
Speaking specifically on her health and how Perez's healthy lifestyle affected her, Vice continued, “I have been unhealthy. My lifestyle is so unhealthy. I sleep so late. I used to eat unhealthy food. I used to really stress myself. I used to overwork myself. Sobrang unhealthy talaga. Pero nung dumating siya, nakita niya [kung] anong ginagawa ko and he was so seriously concerned about it. So kinausap niya ako.”
In true Vice fashion, she added with humor, “Nakikita mo ‘yung partner mo [na] ang ganda-ganda ng lifestyle. Lalo pa sa edad namin. Mas matanda ako sa kaniya ng very slight. Ayaw ko namang maging evident ‘yun. Kapag nakikita kaming dalawa, ayaw kong mukha akong tiyahin.”
The Kapamilya superstar went on to talk about two things Perez had given her and still does, stating, “Ibang bagay din talaga ‘yung malusog ‘yung pangangatawan mo at masaya ang puso mo. ‘Yun ang impluwensiya na ibinigay niya sa akin. Binigyan niya ng kapayapaan at kaligayahan ang puso ko. At ‘yun ang nagpapalakas sa akin.”
She also expressed her pride in her partner's growing confidence in showbiz, pointing out that Perez used to turn down shows because of his low self-esteem.
She said, “Over time, nakikita ko talaga kung paano na-develop ‘yung confidence niya. Especially nung nag-dance class. Parang doon na-boost ‘yung confidence niya.”
“Tumatanggap na siya ngayon ng raket. Dati kasi — kahit anong raket — ayaw niya talaga kahit maganda ‘yung pay. Hiyang-hiya siya. Ngayon, tumatanggap na siya kasi mayroon na siyang confidence. [Dahil sa dance class], mayroon na siyang pangraket. Ang saya ko kasi kumapal na talaga ‘yung mukha niya,” she ended.
The showbiz couple is presently enjoying their vacation in Italy.
