Singer and actress Karla Estrada expressed her support for her daughter, Lella, who recently entered the Pinoy Big Brother house as one of the Kapamilya housemates. The former Magandang Buhay host reposted a clip from a recent episode of the hit reality show on her Instagram account.
Lella is the youngest sister of Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla. Known as the Ang Blooming Bunso ng Tacloban , the Kapamilya star is ready to make a name for herself through the program.
In the short clip that Karla shared, her daughter was seen being emotional as she narrated to her fellow housemates how she wants to be outside of her family’s “shadow” in the entertainment industry.
“Ayoko lang na nasa shadow na lang ako lagi ng family ko,” Lella shared.
Lella admitted that she didn’t expect to be part of the PBB Celebrity Collab 2.0 but was happy as she shared that this is something that she can call her own achievement.
“Honestly now hindi ko din inexpect na mapupunta ako dito sa PBB kasi somehow may maipagmamalaki na rin ako sa mga tao–– ito naman yung achievement ko,” she explained.
Meanwhile, Karla maintained that she never considered her youngest daughter as just a shadow to their family’s success in the showbiz industry. She expressed how proud she is of Lella for standing up on her own.
“Kahit ano pa man anak ang gusto mo sa buhay ay never kang magiging shadow… lahat ay may sariling ilaw na someday ay mag bubukas at someday na yun anak ay ngayon na,” Karla wrote.
“We love and support at proud kami sayo palagi,” she continued.
In a separate post, Karla shared how much she misses her daughter who has been separated from her for almost a week now.
“I miss our cuddles anak! Shocks wala ka pang 1 week dyan anak ! @carmellaford__ love you,” she expressed.
