Matteo Guidicelli opened up about how he and wife Sarah Geronimo support each other not only in marriage but also in their careers.
"We support each other not just on cam but also behind the camera, that's why we created our own production company, our own studio, our own music label, so Sarah can own and will own all her music and all her content," he said in an interview with MJ Marfori and other reporters.
When asked if who he considers as his mentor when it comes to being an entrepreneur and leader, he replied: "I guess my leader and my mentor is my father talaga. My father came to the Philippines 1980s something... I think up to today, my dad is such a mentor to me in leading by example. He leads a company with many people so I always [refer] to him on how I lead my employees, my companies kumbaga."
He also stressed the importance of continued learning: "I think every day you learn and you always try to educate yourself. That's why school continues, school of life or additional schooling, so that's very important."
In the same interview, Matteo was asked about his personal mission outside of work. He said he is looking forward to starting a family with Sarah.
"Greatest mission is being a husband. Second greatest mission is trying to be a father," he remarked.
Back in September, Matteo and Sarah marked their 12th year as a couple.
The actor took to social media to once again express his love for his wife.
"12 years and 1 day to forever with you, my love. ❤️ Life isn’t perfect, but with God’s grace it’s beautiful. Life gives us wisdom, every trial strengthens us," he posted on his Instagram page that month.
"Each day I strive to be a better husband to you and to live with love, faith, and gratitude," he added.
