Actor Jake Ejercito shares his latest milestone after completing the Chicao Marathon this month and reveals which full international marathon he is eyeing to join next.

While preparing to make his big television comeback this year with ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment, Jake Ejercito continues to make the most of his time off-camera by staying fit and achieving more milestones in his fitness goals.

Last October 15, the 35-year-old actor proudly shared that he had successfully completed his first full marathon in the US, the Chicago Marathon, which was held last October 12, and is considered one of the six major marathons in the world.

In his Instagram post, Jake wrote about his experience, “first full. first major. chicagooo

“20 weeks of grind. of highs, lows, and everything in between. still, it makes you feel every damn kilometer out there— the marathon really owes you nothing

“didn’t quite hit my target time, but what a day and what a city! tough to beat the feelings that came with it; appreciate all the love along the way

“full-circle too, running this with Miquel whom i’ve got to thank (or blame) for this ‘running era’”

In the same post, Jake also revealed that the next race he is targetting is the Osaka Marathon which is scheduled for February next year.

Jake completed his fist half-marathon last December when he competed in the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon in Cambodia. He wrote, “All heart, no legs! Finally popped that half-marathon cherry and on the most majestic of courses Big thanks to my bro-in-law turned budol-in-law coach @miquelaguilar1978 and to my marathon helpline @tippersss 🙇‍♂️ Over the moon as a newb— but from my hotel bed, because everything hurts Angkor Wat International Half Marathon 🇰🇭 1:55:15.”

In January, he also competed in a half-marathon in IloIlo, which helped him gear up for the the longer and more challenging races ahead. He wrote, “Was gunning for a sub-1:50 and was on track for the most part, but took a wrong u-turn which caused me to have to double back, adding another 1.5km to my total 💀 Still PR’d at 1:51:39. Official time 2:00:28 (22.7km) Salamat gid to all the langgas who hyped me up 🫶 Onto the next.”

Last April Jake also  shared another update in his running journey after joining a half-marathon in Europe. He wrote, “Budapest Spring Half Marathon 🚀 PR 1:44:24 (-7:15) grind paid off, no plot twists— all Him.”

Initially known in showbiz as one of the three children of former Philippine president Joseph “Erap” Estrada and former actress Laarni Enriquez, Jake has slowly been carving out a name for himself in the industry as a actor and has appeared in ABS-CBN teleseryes like Can’t Buy Me Love, Linlang, and A Family Affair.
