Content creator Abi Marquez, widely known as the “Lumpia Queen,” has achieved another milestone in her career after being named Most Innovative Creator of the Year at The Stevie Awards 2025 held in Lisbon, Portugal.

On social media, Abi shared her excitement and gratitude as she and her manager, Kat Bautista of NYMA Management, proudly accepted their awards.

“Thank you Stevies and esteemed judges. We, Abi and Kat, are both Filipinas and are honored to ever be received the first ever winners in our respective categories. It is our mission to continue to champion Filipino talent to the world stage. To NYMA, our team, our family, and to Christian (Bautista), my partner in life and business, we thank you,” Kat said.

Abi followed with a heartfelt message, saying, “We accept this not just for ourselves but for the Philippines — a country rich in talent and heart, but too often dimmed by systemic corruption. Tonight is proof that innovation thrives where integrity is valued not exploited. Padayon!”

Both Abi and Kat made history as the first recipients of the newly introduced Gold Stevie Award for Most Innovative Content Creator under the Social Media category. Meanwhile, Kat, who serves as NYMA’s Chief Operating Officer, also won the Silver Stevie Award for Best Female Entrepreneur.

“We won guys!!! 😭 First ever winner of the Most Innovative Creator of the Year, alongside my most amazing manager Ms. Kat Bautista of @nyma_mgmt, the first Filipino winner in the Best Female Entrepreneur category at the The Stevie Awards 2025 in Lisbon, Portugal. @thestevieawards,” she wrote.

“Proud to represent and to keep using our voices and platforms to celebrate creativity, stay true to our values, and speak up on things that matter!!! ✨,” Abi continued.

Last May, Abi was honored with the Food Creator of the Year award at the 2025 World Influencers and Bloggers Awards (WIBA) held during the Cannes Film Festival in France.

Prior to this, the content creator has also been nominated for the James Beard Media Awards, included in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia 2024 list, and became the first Filipino from the Philippines to win a Webby Award—earning the People’s Voice Award in the General Social: Food & Drink category in 2024.

In a previous interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Abi admitted that at first, she felt scared by the overwhelming recognition she has received over the past three years since starting her content creation journey

“May ganoon akong fear noong una na I’m receiving these awards na and [being] hailed the top or [having] the most awards for a content creator or the culinary industry,” Abi shared

Despite her doubts, Abi feels proud and grateful for how far she has come, saying: “Noong nararamdaman ko noon was aside from that fear, it really is the honor and the gratefulness that I’ve been doing this for only two to three years.”

Abi is especially proud to represent Filipino culture through her cooking.

“Nangibabaw din yung feeling ng pride sa akin kasi nandoon ako because of my work and my work is making Filipino food videos and also a matter of knowing who I represent and talagang nagcommit ako sa sarili ko na I am going to receive these awards as a Filipino na home cook. I will wear a Filipiniana and I will bring my culture because that's what brought me to do this,” she added.
