Politician Chavit Singson denied the rumors linking him to Kapuso actress Jillian Ward. In a brief interview with selected members of the press earlier this week, the businessman maintained that the rumors are nothing more but mere gossip.
“Marites lang yun,” he maintained.

Chavit then revealed that he has heard about the rumors and about several other personalities that have been linked to him. He assured the media present that those rumors were all gossip and had no facts to back them up.
“Marites lang. Naririnig ko nga yun. Marami ngang nalilink sa akin. Pero puro Marites yan,” he added.
When he was then asked about his rumored romantic relationship with Yen Santos, he politely asked the media to move forward with the “next question.”
While the media wanted to press more about the rumors, the seasoned politician jokingly reminded them about his request to stop asking about women.
“Sinabi ko na kanina eh you can ask any question except [tungkol sa] babae–– takot ako diyan eh,” he quipped.
Previously, Chavit debunked the rumors as well about his alleged love child with Kapamilya actress Yen. In the vlog of the actress, the two sat down to answer some questions her followers have been wanting to know the answers to.

The child in question is the brother of Yen who happens to be the godchild of the politician as revealed by the actress in a vlog. She admitted that she wanted to speak up about the issue as the decade-long rumor was still being talked about on social media.
“Parang more than a decade na kasi he’s a good family friend. Super tropa to ng aking parents kaya lagi tayo na iissue. Meron pa nga daw tayong anak di ba? Malaki na daw yung anak natin si Yan Yan,” Yen previously shared.
“Well, wala naman okay lang dahil yung iba marites lang,” Chavit maintained.
