Kapamilya actress Yen Santos denied the long-standing rumor that she has a love child with politician Chavit Singson. In her first-ever YouTube vlog posted on July 23, she answered some questions which included the rumor that she once heard at the start of her career several years ago.
Yen opened her YouTube channel earlier this week and has 84,000 views on her first video as of this writing.

She broke her silence and maintained that the rumors thrown at her were false as the child once spotted in the photos with her was actually her youngest brother. She asserted that the politician is a good family friend of theirs and nothing more.
“Yung chismis na meron daw kaming anak ni Manong Chavit. Guys, hindi namin yun anak. Kapatid ko pa yun. He’s my youngest brother–– tatlo kaming magkakapatid,” she shared.
Yen expressed how she saw it on social media but didn’t correct the rumors as it wasn’t something she felt needed correcting since she knows the truth. Her youngest brother, who’s already 11 years old, is also the godchild of Chavit.
“Yun talaga yun, nakikita ko sa TikTok nagkalat na malaki na daw yun anak namin. Yes, malaki na siya. He’s 11 years old pero hindi po namin yun anak. Kapatid ko po siya,” she added.
The Kapamilya actress couldn’t help but laugh it off as she admitted she didn’t know how to handle the rumor back then.

“Parang nag uumpisa palang ako mag artista, yun agad yung issue ko. Yung mga panahon na yun, siyempre nag uumpisa ako, hindi ko alam paano ko siya ihahandle. Mag sasalita ba ako? Pag tatanggol ko ba sarili ko? Kapatid ko naman talaga yun eh. Nung una, hurt na hurt ako na parang nadadamay yung bata dun sa issue na hindi naman totoo,” she continued.
She then suggested to hold a vlog with Chavit himself to clarify the rumors and to put an end to it.
“Kapatid ko siya guys. I love him very much–– yung kapatid ko ah,” she ended.
In the same vlog, Yen shared some realizations she had after she broke it off with her ex-boyfriend. She expressed how glad she was to end things with him as she felt like she woke up from a nightmare.
