Kapamilya television personality Melai Cantiveros recently took to social media to share a post about her daughters, Mela and Stela Francisco, as they continue to grow up.
On her Instagram page, the Magandang Buhay host shared her observations about her children becoming more emotional after spending time with family during the holidays.
“Growing na talaga ang mga chicken nuggets ko 🥰,” Melai first wrote.
Melai explained that she encourages her daughters to reflect on their feelings, guiding them in understanding and expressing their emotions.
“May mga bagay na sinasabi ko kina mela and stela na dapat ba yan iyakan? Pero may mga bagay din na hinahayaan ko silang maging emotional and mag open up sa akin sa mga nararamdanan nila para ma address nila kung anu ba tlaga ang nasa feelings nila and masolve nila itung feelings na itu in their own way na nasa guidance ko and habang bata pa sila, na its valid na its ok to cry pero wag lang tambayan ang feelings na yun 💋,” she added.
Reflecting on how her children were affected by saying goodbye to their cousins, Melai expressed gratitude for seeing their emotional growth.
“nafeel ko kahapon na growing na sila nagiinvest na sila ng feelings sa mga cousins nila mas nakilala ko pa sila bilang tao and nahappy ako dahil open sila sa akin sa nararamdaman nila . Na ganun tlaga ang real life after Lingaw is the Mingaw . And yun ay very normal . ❤️ Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for moments of out lives ❤️ Credit all to you Lord God love you💋❤️🙏🏻 sana ganitu sila ka- open kng boys nmn iyakan nila 😁😂🤫🧐,” she said.
Melai and her daughters spent the holiday vacation with her family in General Santos City. She also shared a lighthearted moment with her family, joking about her their love for gossip.
“Chismosa padn sa 2025 🎆✌️🤫😁😂 MariTest mic Test? Matetest ka tlaga kng mapipigilan mu mag maritesan sa unang araw ng Taon pero di tlaga kaya. Kaya Marites padn sa 2025 🤫 Sorry Lord🙏🏻🎆,” Melai quipped in a post.
The television host also teased her parents with a humorous video.
“Indeed love conquers all ❤️ from in Sickness in health to loving and hating down to killing and embracing 😂 But the Love continues...........❤️🥰 this 2025 💋 #ParentsofKuan #motherandfatherofkuan,” she said in a post.
In another post, Melai shared her feelings about traveling with her kids, particularly her anxiety when flying.
“Ngayun ganitu na edad ko medyu nagiging iba ang atake ko sa life ,di na ako ganun ka strong and courageous ,lalo na pagsakay ng plane . Lagi pumapasok sa isip ko baka itu na ang ending ✈️ at dahil jan lagi ako nag sosorry kay Lord kasi pag sa plane ako , inaatake ako ng anxiety which is hindi tugma sa Faith ki kay God🙏🏻 Pero lagi padn ako binibgyan Lord ng chance na life every now and then,” she said.
Melai went on, “sila Mela and Stela naiiyak kasi mamimis na naman nila mga pinsan nila sa Gensan . Ako nmn di na alam saan ang papatulan ko na emusyun ang pagka Sepanx? O ang pagsafe sa pagsakay sa plane .
