Melai Cantiveros shared some snapshots of the skiing experience of her family in South Korea.
Melai alongside her husband, Jason Francisco, and their daughters, recently traveled to Gangwon, South Korea and visited the ski resort High1 Resort.
"Di ko in-expect na magustuhan ni Stela and Mela ang skiing kaya napakanta nalang ako ng 🎶 Skiing Mareng Kadeng Kadeng Skiiing Mareng Kedo ,🎶AyLabYu🎶 dtu sa Gangwon High-1 @high1_resort South Korea 🇰🇷❤️ (sic)," she posted on her Instagram page.
The comedienne remarked that her kids had a great time experiencing the snow.
"Guys sobra ganda dito talagang ma-feel mo ang Christmas ba as-in talaga kaya pala resort 'to kasi si Stela nilaro na nang nilaro ang snow. Di na aalis sa snow. Aalis lang pagkakain😁✅ Parang dagat naman sa Pinas ang feels 😍," she said.
Melai shared that she will be posting a vlog about their experience soon on YouTube.
The Kapamilya star extended her gratitude to their skiing coaches for guiding them during their resort visit.
"To our coach in skiing grabe ka bait and grabe sila magturo sa amin, grabe ang pasensya. Thank you @kwon_yonghye coach of Stela, sabi ni Stela ma-miss daw nya siya, thank you @ms2_jmp coach ni Mela na na-very good si Mela and my coach @rim_d_o and papang Coach @swim_ming__0 ❤️ if you go to Phils we will tour you," she said.
Back in May, Melai was named as the new honorary ambassador for Korea Family Tourism in the Philippines for the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).
Following her appointment, Melai penned a message of gratitude on social media.
"Kamsahamnidaaa mga Kamsamiii kung di dahil sa inyo di kami mapipili na maging ambassador and ambassadress ng KTO @ktomanila as Korean Tourism Ambassador Family 🇰🇷🫰this oppurtunity ay para sa inyo mga Kamsamiiii, ipapakita nmin sa inyo ang mga happiness nmin dito sa Korea," she said.
As per KTO's press release, part of Melai's role includes visiting Korea with her family, sharing her experiences on social media, and promoting family-friendly tourist attractions at events organized by KTO and other agencies. She will also participate in major campaigns like familiarization tours and travel fairs within a year of her appointment.
