Jodi Sta. Maria is a step closer to fulfilling her dream of making mental health services accessible to all after finishing her interpersonal psychotherapy training.
The actress shared her newest accomplishment via a social media post on Tuesday, January 21.
According to Sta. Maria, her Interpersonal Psychotherapy Level A training was not just about gaining tools to help others heal, but is also a personal awakening.
"I walk away with a deeper understanding of my own connections," she said. "I'm grateful to the doctors, psychologists, and counselors who generously shared their stories, knowledge, and wisdom during this journey. Your insights made this experience truly unforgettable."
"This has been an enriching and humbling experience that I will carry with me always," she added. "Really looking forward to put what I have learned into practice."
Sta. Maria starred in the series "Lavender Fields" which concluded last Friday, January 17.
She earlier revealed her plans of taking a break from acting to pursue a master's degree in clinical psychology.
