MANILA — Alas Pilipinas Men will open their second 2026 SEA V Cup campaign against Cambodia on Thursday, July 23.
Seeking to exact revenge against the eventual Leg 1 champion, Alas Men led by veteran Jude Garcia will be duking it out against the Cambodians 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Jakarta International Velodrome.

They lost to the Voeurn Veasna-led squad last time around, 23-25, 30-28, 20-25, 25-22, 8-15, in pool phase action.
The Filipino spikers are grouped once more with rising nation Cambodia and 2026 AVC Men’s Cup champion Indonesia.

“Kita naman do’n ‘yung effort ng bawat isa, so dadalhin namin ‘tong experience na ‘to sa leg 2. Sana mas magiging maganda ‘yung resulta ng Leg 2 namin,” said Garcia after their 25-21, 28-26, 25-22 victory over Myanmar in the fifth-place match on July 19 in Candon, Ilocos Sur.
After facing Cambodia, the Philippines will be taking on the home squad on Friday.
Alas Men head coach Angiolino Frigoni previously said that they are bringing the same squad for Leg 2 of the regional tilt.
