MANILA — Capital1 rookie Bella Belen admittedly "prayed" and "manifested" for new recruits during the offseason — and her wish just got granted.
She wasn't exactly silent on her desire to have other gunners in her team as she actively recruited from the Cignal team that took a leave of absence from the league, especially during the 2026 PVL All-Star in Candon, Ilocos Sur.
And now, the Capital1 franchise looks promising with the signing of Most Valuable Player awardees Vanie Gandler and Erika Santos from the Super Spikers, together with ex-Nxled setter Jaja Maraguinot.

"Ako talaga, I really manifested and prayed for it na may makuha kami from tha Cignal team, kasi siyempre, with the likes of Ate Vanie at Ate Erika, malaking help sila sa Capital1," said Belen as she welcomed the newest faces in her team on Thursday in Mandaluyong City.
"Lahat ng tulong na pwede naming makuha, kukunin namin. So ayun, sobrang happy lang ako kasi siyempre, 'yung owners, sila Ms. Milka [Romero], talagang very open sila," she added.
With her "mowm" joining her, Belen was just excited, relishing the friendship she has with the 2026 All-Filipino MVP.
"I'm very happy na nagkaroon ako ng bagong friend with the likes of Ate Vanie. So every time outside volleyball, ayun, nagchichikahan kami and all," said Belen, also a Best Outside Spiker nod recipient.
