MANILA — Riri Meneses and Ces Molina expressed gratitude to their current team as they were granted a new lease on life at Farm Fresh.
Longtime teammates at Cignal and Petro Gazz before, they both embraced a fresh start in the Foxies den since July last year.
"Sobrang happy ako kasi winelcome nila kami with malaki, talagang [open arms]. Basta 'yun sobrang welcoming nila from the owner hanggang sa management and sa mga players talaga, as in wala akong masabi," expressed Meneses.

"Well, I can say na happy kami ngayon kung nasaan man kami ngayon, kung sino 'yung kasama namin, at kung anong klaseng team 'yung napuntahan namin. Sobrang happy din ako sa management kasi grabe 'yung support. 'Yung transition din namin from former team to Farm Fresh," said Molina.
Things went downhill with their former team, as Cignal even eyed legal action regarding their departure. They also endured a long layoff after leaving the then-HD Spikers squad.
"Sobrang thankful talaga na may nagtiwala pa rin sa amin after ng all ng nangyari," Meneses, a former Best Middle Blocker awardee, shared.

"I think, masasabi ko na we're slowly getting back sa playing form namin, kasi wala naman kaming ibang gustong gawin kundi maglaro, and makatulong sa team at maiangat si Farm Fresh," the former league MVP added.

As everyone moved on and the "RiCes" tandem is now donning the orange and white, they have one goal for the team, which they did before in their previous squads — bring Farm Fresh to the podium.
"Kasi kami naman sa former teams namin, alam na namin ‘yung feeling na nakakapag-podium, lagi kaming nasa bronze, silver… So, gusto ko lang ma-share sa Farm Fresh kasi si Farm Fresh hindi pa siya naka-pasok sa podium," said Molina.

"Talagang para din kay coach Koji [Tsuzurabara] ito kasi alam naman natin na ilang months pa lang siya with our team, so gusto lang din namin patunayan na maganda talaga 'yung sistema niya, na nagwo-work talaga siya para sa amin," said Meneses.
