MANILA — Nxled stayed in contention for a qualifying round berth by snapping PLDT's four-game winning run, 21-25, 25-23, 25-13, 25-14, in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the Filoil Centre in San Juan.
Despite getting hacked out in the opener, the Chameleons found their groove, including a close Set 2 win.

Myla Pablo's clutch hits late in the frame powered Nxled, breaking a 22-all deadlock that sent her team to set point at 24-22. Jonah Sabete-Escamillan followed through, clinching the set for Nxled with a sharp, long spike for a 1-1 set scores.
From then forward, it was Nxled dominance, demolishing the High Speed Hitters in the last two frames to secure the victory.

"I'm just really proud of my the team for the way we came out," said team captain Brooke Van Sickle during the postgame interview. She dropped 21 points done mostly on attacks, to go with 11 excellent receptions and nine excellent digs.
MJ Phillips delivered 16 points, Sabete-Escamillan had 15 points and 13 excellent receptions, while Pablo completed the supporting cast with 13 markers.
Meanwhile, PLDT's preliminary round campaign ended with a loss, finishing at 7-2, although the Rald Ricafort-coached squad is still bound for the qualifying round.
Savi Davison, usual suspect for PLDT, had 18 points and 17 excellent receptions to pace the loss.
