MANILA — Choco Mucho head coach Dante Alinsunurin and Sisi Rondina assured on Tuesday that Eya Laure is doing well after an apparent injury in their encounter against Creamline in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Laure went down after hurting, grimacing in pain during Set 4 at the 9-4 mark. She was assisted off the court, but opted not to use a wheelchair.
The Flying Titans consequently lost, 25-27, 25-17, 21-25, 15-25, dropping to a 1-2 win-loss card.
"Okay siya," Alinsunurin and Rondina told reporters.
Rondina shared that her fellow University of Santo Tomas product has been experiencing an abdominal strain.

"Ano lang siya, dati naman talaga niya 'yon problema, 'yung sa groin niya. And may strain na kasi din 'yun sa abs. So, I think napuwersa lang din 'yon siguro kanina," she said.
Rondina and the Flying Titans are hopeful for Laure's return in time for the next game.
Before bringing her to the dugout, Laure already contributed 19 points, 10 excellent digs, and 13 excellent receptions.
"But tomorrow, meron siyang checkup, meron din siyang mga rehab, hopefully makabalik siya sa next game," said Rondina.
