MANILA — Vanie Gandler is doing her part in Cignal's impressive campaign so far in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.
Gandler, in her latest outburst, registered 25 points on 24 attacks and one ace, to go with 14 excellent digs and 15 excellent receptions in Cignal's 25-17, 26-24, 20-25, 30-28 victory over Farm Fresh on Tuesday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
She also had double-digit outputs against Choco Mucho (16 points) and Galeries (14 points), proving her worth as a go-to scorer alongside Erika Santos in the Super Spikers' turf.
But for the Ateneo de Manila University product, she is not thinking about the statistics per match, asserting that she's just focused on how she could contribute—from offense to defense.

"I just think of however way I can contribute to the team. So, if I'm in the front row, with scoring, and [when I'm in the] back row, defense. I don't really think of the stats," Gandler said.
"It's just where else I can help with the team to get this win."
The Alas Pilipinas star spiker said she's proud of the team, acknowledging their willingness to learn and be better.
"I'm really proud of my team because we work really hard and we really try our best to apply everything that's taught to us," she said.
"We still have many lapses, many things to work on, but I'm very happy with how we're willing to learn and improve each training."
