MANILA — Chery Tiggo's Ara Galang is not hitting the brakes any time soon.
Galang is set to feature in her first Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Final, and she could not be more grateful and satisfied.
For the De La Salle University product, reaching this breakthrough is an opportunity she should pounce on.
The Crossovers are returning to the championship stage after four years by eliminating Cignal, 25-17, 16-25, 25-21, 25-23, in the semifinal round of the PVL on Tour, Tuesday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

"Oo nga po eh [first PVL finals]. Sobrang saya, sobrang saya lang ng nararamdaman ko. Ngayon siguro mage-enjoy, pero onto the next na rin... ayoko nang tumigil dito," said Galang.
"Nasa finals na kami, so 'yung opportunity, gusto ko lang talaga i-grab. Pero masaya, sobra."
Galang headlined the Chery Tiggo firepower with 15 points, tying the team-high output of fellow standout Cess Robles. It was also she who provided the semis-ending hit, wrapping up the four-set win.
For the 30-year-old spiker, she was just doing her job as one of the leaders in the team.
"Ginampanan ko lang din 'yung sinabi sakin ni coach at nag-focus lang din ako sa laro kung ano 'yung mako-contribute ko sa team kung papano kami mananalo. 'Yun lang din 'yung focus ko, binigay ko lang din 'yung best ko," Galang said.
She vowed to give her all in her first-ever PVL final match on Sunday. They will face either Creamline or PLDT.
"Hangga't kaya ko gagawin ko 'yung best ko, gagawin ko 'yung makakaya ko para matulungan 'yung team ko ngayon, sa Chery. Maggi-give back ako sa tiwalang binibigay nila sakin," she said.
"Naglalaro rin ako dahil sa pamilya ko at sa mga nagtitiwala sa akin. Kung may nai-inspire pa ako, bata, matanda, o ano, naglalaro rin ako para sa kanila."
