MANILA, Philippines – The Star Magic All-Star Games delivered the team-up of our volleyball dreams.
What seemed to be impossible happened: we saw UAAP star and De La Salle University standout Angel Canino and ABS-CBN's very own BINI Mikha play together in the All-Star Games 2025 on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
The women's volleyball match showcased their immediate connection: the precise passes from BINI Mikha to the sharp spikes of Canino, turning into kills that brought life to the jampacked Big Dome joined by thousands of Kapamilya fans.
And every time they converted attack points, the crowd responded with a loud roar.
For Canino, it was a dream-come-true moment, relishing the game time with her idol, the pride of Cebu City.
"Super happy, at the same kasi 'yung family ko, a fan of BINI also. And they're happy for me because I'm also a fan of BINI. And siyempre, looking forward to it na ma-set-an ako ni BINI Mikha," Canino shared with ABS-CBN News.

The 2025 AVC Best Outside Spiker also reflected on the thought of BINI watching her from the sidelines.
Canino shared that she has long waited to watch a BINI concert, but it was hard for her to secure tickets.
"Medyo baliktad, kasi for the longest time I want to watch their concert, and ang mangyayari ngayon is sila 'yung manonood ng laro namin kasi teammate ko si BINI Mikha. So weird siya kasi ako gustong-gusto ko na manood ng concert nila, pero ayon lang sobrang hirapan lang maghanap ng tickets. And thankful kasi siyempre makikita ko din 'yung BINI," she said.
It was something new for her, that's why joining the Games was a no-brainer.
"Grateful sa experience na 'to kasi siyempre, outside the box ko din siya, first time ko siyang gawin, especially artists 'yung mga kasama ko. And thankfully talaga 'yung mga kasama ko, sobrang approachable nila, sobrang friendly nila."
