MANILA -- The Philippines will be hosting the AVC Women’s Champions League, the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) announced Friday.
The country will be the official and final venue, with the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) and PNVF as organizers, after South Korea was originally chosen to be the competition's location.

Top Asian volleyball clubs will be competing in the now-locally hosted tilt, set for April 20 to 27, 2025.

The teams will battle for a $50,000 prize and a chance to earn a spot in the FIVB Club World Championship, according to the PNVF which is headed by president Ramon Suzara.
As for the country's representatives, home turf will be defended by the the team which would emerge triumphant in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
In case grand slam champion Creamline retains its title, the Cool Smashers will have the privilege to take part in the inaugural event.
