MANILA — Choco Mucho import Anyse Smith is excited to play for the team's huge fanbase at the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.
But more than playing for the Flying Titans' ever-passionate supporters, she expressed her desire to win.
Smith seeks to help Choco Mucho regain its standing in the league, after settling for 10th place during the 2025 PVL on Tour, 4th place at the 2024-25 All-Filipino, and 9th place in last year's Reinforced Conference.
"I'm just here to do my job, show my support, be a good team player, and be a leader. I want to win," said Smith.
"I love the supporters here. I feel like the fans definitely give us a run for our money. They're there to support us," she said. "They're there when we're down, and they're there when we need them. So I just want to say we appreciate all of you."
Smith helped Thailand's Nakhon Ratchasima at the Manila-hosted 2025 AVC Champions League just this May, and the American spiker is back in the Philippines for yet another volleyball contest.

She also played for North Texas University in the United States.
"You will see a very compassionate, very committed Marlee this time around," she said. "I feel like I did a big one, the first time, but I want to leave with an even bigger impact this time."
Smith also bared that she transitioned into the team with ease: "The transition has been fairly easy because my teammates are very welcoming. I felt very supported since I got here. I actually really, really love my team."
