Creamline's Jema Galanza during the 2025 PVL Invitational. PVL Media BureauILAGAN, Isabela — Creamline coach Sherwin Meneses said Saturday that Jema Galanza missing out the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference would be a "big loss" for the Cool Smashers.
Galanza was forced to be sidelined the whole import-laden conference as she focuses on the recovery of her left foot injury.
Knowing the capabilities of his ward, Meneses acknowledged that she would leave a void, but the former Adamson standout needs to be on full rest.
"We hope na makabalik siya agad next conference. So, ngayon talaga totally rest lang talaga siya," said Meneses after Creamline's 25-9, 25-11, 25-15 triumph over Galeries at the Capital Arena here.

Meneses said they let the team's physical therapists to do their jobs and decided on Galanza's trajectory: "'Yung about kay Jema naman, sa mga PTs namin 'yung nagde-decide kasi medyo sensitive 'yung injury," he said. "Malaking kawalan si Jema, pero nandun na 'yun e."
With Galanza out, one of the locals stepping up for Creamline is team captain Alyssa Valdez, who notched 10 points against Galeries, to help import Courtney Schwan on the attacking and scoring side.
Creamline is now 2-1, riding on back-to-back wins after losing its opener against Akari.
