MANILA -- Criss Cross and Cignal HD will add another chapter to their escalating rivalry when they face off in the one-game final of the 2024 Spikers' Turf Invitational Conference on Sunday afternoon.
First serve is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
Momentum is arguably on the side of the King Crunchers, who swept the semifinal phase of the tournament -- including a four-set triumph against the HD Spikers.
Cignal HD will still enter the finals on a winning note, having swept guest team Kondohgumi Hyogo to secure the second and last finals berth.

"Just like any other team, all of us players are prepared to go in at any time because we train equally and with the same energy," said Criss Cross middle blocker Chu Njigha. "We want to carry that winning momentum from the semis into the championship."
"We're as excited as everyone else anticipating the game on Sunday," he added. "Super gigil kami – we really want to get that win. Nandito na tayo, so might as well give it our all."
The HD Spikers got the better of Criss Cross in the Open Conference finals last may, winning their best-of-3 series to claim the crown. They were also victorious in the elimination round, albeit in a five-set affair.
Meanwhile, Savouge and DN Steel-Far Eastern University will compete for the bronze medal in the 4:00 p.m. curtain-raiser.
