Creamline middle blocker Bea de Leon. PVL Media BureauMANILA, Philippines – Middle blocker Bea de Leon disclosed what fueled her to deliver a very efficient game for Creamline against Akari.
De Leon took the Player of the Game honors by dropping 10 attack points on 13 attempts, helping Creamline overpower their fellow PVL Reinforced Conference finalists Akari Chargers, 26-24, 25-17, 25-16, on Saturday at the Candon City Arena for their second win in the 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference.
When the dust settled, the former Ateneo star had a total of 12 for the offense, a point behind top-scorer Jema Galanza who had 13.

For De Leon, they were just relishing their reunion with Creamline superstars Alyssa Valdez and Tots Carlos on the taraflex.
Both were sidelined due to minor injuries, skipping the Reinforced and Invitational Conferences.

"Actually, the past few games parang ine-enjoy ko lang din kasi talaga special sa buong team na bumalik si ate Ly [Alyssa Valdez] tsaka si Tottie [Tots Carlos] so ine-enjoy lang rin talaga namin together," De Leon said.
Creamline fans, as always, went on to cheer for the fan favorites—and it didn't go unnoticed.
"Siyempre, very happy ako na nakuha namin ‘yung panalo. Nag-enjoy lang talaga kami, sobrang saya mag-play sa crowd na ito," the 28-year-old MB said.
"They were really, really loud. Sobrang sarap sa tenga na marinig lahat ‘yun. Really, when we came out palang, super cheer kaagad talaga sila for Creamline. Alam namin na galing sila sa super layo na mga lugar so maraming-maraming salamat sa suporta."
In Creamline's first game in the all-Pinoy tilt, De Leon also had a double-digt output of 10 points against their perennial rival Petro Gazz.
