Filipina athlete Agatha Wong has bagged a bronze medal at the 17th World Wushu Championships in Brasilia, Brazil.
The 27-year-old Wong garnered 9.703 points in the women’s taijijian event, placing third just behind Shino Saito of Japan (9.740) and Zeanne Law of Singapore (9.726).

It was a bounce-back podium result for Wong, who faltered during her Chengdu World Games campaign.
Carlos Baylon Jr. also won the silver medal in men's sanda 56 kg which concluded on Sunday.
Russel Diaz (men's sanda 52 kg), Gideon Fred Padua (men's sanda 60 kg), Xander Alipio (men's sanda 65 kg), Jenifer Kilapio (women's sanda 52 kg), and Krisna Malecdan (women's sanda 56 kg) also clinched bronze medals in their respective events.
