Amid a recent streak of success in ONE Championship, Filipina fighter Islay Bomogao remains wary as she takes on a new challenge in the 2025 Southeast Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand.
Bomogao, the No. 1 ranked -45kg fighter in the country, will lead the Philippines' Muay contingent in the SEA Games.
While she's had a run of success in 2025, Bomogao is not underestimating any of her opponents.

"For sure, solid po lahat. This is a big event kaya each country is putting forward their best and most experienced athletes," said Bomogao.
"I don't really single out one big threat. Anyone can be tough depending on the day. So I'm just focused on myself and making sure I'm ready for whoever I face."
Bomogao last fought in November, knocking out Ploychompoo PU Phabai of Thailand in the second round of an atomweight competition. Coincidentally, that bout was held at the Lumpinee Stadium, the venue of SEA Games Muay competition.
The Muay team also features Rudzma Abubakar, Kim Ryan Asense, Mark Jeremy Balmoris, Mathew Blane Comicho, Eunicka Kaye Costales, Phillip Delarmino, Ejay Galendez, Tyron Jamborillo, Ariel Lee Lampacan, Alyssa Kylie Mallari, Floryvic Montero, Jan Brix Ramiscal, and LJ Rafael Yasay.
Muay competitions begin on Friday, December 12, at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok.
