Justin Arana posted a career-high 39 points in Converge’s demolition of guest team Macau, 149-124, in the PBA Season 50 Governors’ Cup on Friday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Arana added 12 rebounds as the FiberXers notched their third win in a row, tying NLEX in the Group A standings.

He was backstopped by Mikey Williams, who chipped in 16 points, as Alec Stockton added 15; Justin Baltazar and Calvin Abueva, 13 each.

“Noong first quarter po ‘yung transition namin, kung titingnan n’yo, ‘yun po strength namin. Nawala ng second, then good thing after noong huddle nagising po mga bata. Nu’ng second half po ‘yung transition namin nandoon na, tumakbo na ho ulit ‘yung mga bata,” said Converge head coach Delta Pineda.
Ramon Cao’s PBA high of 41 points went down the drain as the Giant Pandas fell to a 0-3 hole.
