MANILA -- NLEX improved to 3-0 in the PBA Season 50 Governors' Cup after a 135-100 demolition of Titan Ultra, Tuesday evening at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
Schonny Winston led the way with 30 points on 12-of-18 shooting, nine rebounds, and six assists, while Robert Bolick added 29 points and seven rebounds.
Import DeQuan Jones added 22 points as NLEX shot 49.1% against Titan, including 13-of-32 from three-point range.
The Road Warriors, now coached by Jimmy Alapag, are still unbeaten in Group A while the Giant Risers fell to 0-3.
Titan Ultra had been within striking distance, 30-24, after the opening frame but managed just 19 points in the ensuing quarter as the Road Warriors pulled ahead, 61-43.
Import Tirrell Brown led Titan Ultra with 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Roi Sumang led their locals with 18 points.
