TNT's Bol Bol in action. PBA ImagesMANILA — TNT returned to the win column of the PBA Season 50 Commissioner's Cup after holding off Macau, 119-112, on Friday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
It was a bounce-back win for the Tropang 5G after losing to Converge, 92-97, keeping their playoff bonus hopes in the process.
They needed to fend off a late Macau surge as the guests tore down a double-digit lead entering the last five minutes.

Damian Chongqui, Chon Pong Lao, and Phoenix Shackelford made it a 113-112 with around 26 seconds left, but thanks to Jordan Heading's clean trips to the 15-foot line later on, the Tropa found the pull away for their sixth win in nine games.
Bol Bol, as usual, carried the scoring load for TNT, firing 37 points while collecting 14 rebounds and asserting his will on the defense with six blocks.
Heading finished with 20 points on 8-of-8 conversions on the foul line, to go with eight rebounds, while the efficient-shooting Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser had 17 markers on 7-of-9 clip and seven boards.

Calvin Oftana, for his part, delivered a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Black Knights were dealt their eight loss of the tournament, after gaining one win over Titan Ultra last time around, 119–107.
Shackelford concluded the affair with a 31-point outing, while Chongqui chipped in 29 markers.
