NLEX's Robert Bolick in action. PBA ImagesMANILA — Robert Bolick dropped the go-ahead triple as NLEX survived Ginebra and Justin Brownlee's 46-point explosion, 118-113, in the PBA Season 50 Commissioner's Cup on Friday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
After Cady Lalanne closed the gap at 113-112, with Ginebra leading, Bolick saw the opportunity and fired the shot from the arc that gave them the lead, around 45 seconds, coupling it with a 2-of-2 makes on the foul line later on to earn the win.
"Kapag nag-miss 'yon, ako naman sisisihin," said Bolick after the game.
The former Red Lion had 32 points on 11-of-19 shooting, to go with seven assists, while Lalanne had a monster double-double of 28-14 statline, and Schonny Winston had 21 markers.
