MANILA -- Camille Clarin shone in the clutch to send the Gilas Pilipinas 3x3 Women to the semifinals of Manila Hustle 3x3 Season 3 with a gutsy 12-11 overtime win over Titans on Sunday at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
The National U winger played the role of the hero for the Nationals, sinking the game-clinching deuce as they took down last year's runner-up to be one of the last four teams standing.
It was an emotional win for Gilas Women which lost Mikka Cacho to a sprained ankle earlier in the game and was playing in its third overtime in this competition co-presented by Uratex, Smart, and the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP).

Now, they turn their attention to the semifinals where they take on Panthers 3x3, which fended off a tough challenge by Uratex Dream, 19-18.
Ari Geli drained the go-ahead deuce with 21.8 seconds left to make it a 19-17 affair, but Afril Bernardino refused to quit, scoring on a drive and forcing a crucial stop with 7.5 seconds left.
But the Spanish side held together on defense in the closing moments, with Fiba 3x3 Women's Series veteran Saicha Grant-Allen giving no room for Sam Harada to operate as time expired.
In the other bracket, defending champion Zoos Tokyo hardly broke a sweat in their quarterfinal match against Uratex Tibay with a 20-9 mugging, while Tokyo BB also made it through to the final four, riding Rika Kurihara once again to outlast fellow Japanese side XD, 15-12.
They will face of in an all-Japanese semifinals clash in this tourney which has Titan as official partner, together with Wilson, Seiko, B'lue, Secret Fresh, BDO, Jollibee, TRYP by Wyndham, Jisulife, Rexona, Senka, and Laurin, all for the USD4,000 cash prize and an invite to the WKBL Triple Jam later this year.
Games are livestreamed on the Manila Hustle 3x3 Facebook page, as well as on the Smart Sports and Puso Pilipinas pages.
