MANILA — Gabe Norwood said he wants to "make the most" out of his last campaign in the PBA with the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.
Norwood, 40, is retiring after the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup, he announced on October 9.
The Filipino-American veteran said one of his aspirations is a one last title with the Elasto Painters—the elusive all-Filipino PBA crown.
"Just trying to make the most of it. I wanted to announce it early so I could really lock in and try to get a championship for Rain or Shine. We haven't won all-Filipino so that's kind of the focus right now," said Norwood on Tuesday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

He is watching and supporting his cousin, Alohi Robins-Hardy, who is playing as setter for the Farm Fresh Foxies.
Norwood said he's "blessed" for his longevity, giving credit to the league and his support system.
"I'm trying to save my emotions for the end, the true end, and stay focused. But I've been truly blessed to have a long career. Not a lot of people get to play past 10 years, more or less almost 20," said Norwood.
"So, I'm very grateful to the league, grateful to the people that have supported me, especially my family like Alohi."
