Photos from PBA Images.MANILA — Maverick Ahanmisi and Aljon Mariano are set to don new colors following the latest trade between Barangay Ginebra and Terrafirma Dyip.

Following the approved trade which the PBA announced Wednesday, the two veterans are set to take their talents to Terrafirma as the Gin Kings acquired the Dyip’s Season 51 1st round pick.

This allows Ahanmisi to pair with his younger brother Jerrick, while also having his request to be traded to another team granted after only seeing limited minutes since he signed with the Gin Kings.

Mav Ahanmisi averaged 7.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in his 65 games in Season 50, playing backup to Scottie Thompson and RJ Abarrientos.

This would be the first time that the Ahanmisi brothers will be playing for a single PBA team.

Mariano, for his part, ends his almost-a-decade stint with Barangay Ginebra, the team that drafted him 16th overall during the 2015 annual proceedings.

The former University of Santo Tomas star won seven PBA Championships with Ginebra.
